Per rivals board, Young, Wegner, Johnson NOT coming this weekend.

Posts on rivals say SBT reports Wegner and Young now have a game Monday and will not travel to ND this weekend, but will try to make the Navy game.

Also, Micah Johnson, who was to visit ND with Gordon will not make it. They have a conflict with a playoff game. They will also try to make the Navy game. Nothing is cited for the Johnson info.

Completely understandable. The fact is that they have put their community ahead of anything else and for that they get my respect. THESE ARE THE KIND OF KIDS WE NEED AT ND.

i agree. to me it just seemed like the crowd was sleeping during the BYU game, no energy at all. it was like i was watching the spring game.

There's not going to be another crowd like the USC game this season. It is not easy to get excited for Navy ( although the midshipmen will be there making plenty of noise).

When ND got so far ahead of BYU I started to yawn. It was a great pleasure to see them play so well but the excitment was gone.

I'll take those games anytime but the USC game was the big one.

Even MSU was big because it was the opener and Charlie's first home game.

I think tomorrow will be a bit rowdy, but Navy and 'Cuse could be nappers.

I don't know. Sometimes the crowd is all about momentum. If, scratch that, when the Irish give a solid pounding to UT this weekend, there will be a clear path to a BCS bowl and a great finish to the season. Hopefully that adds to the vibe on campus on gameday.

The atmosphere for SC was like non other. It just doesn't get that hyped more than once a year or maybe less often. Part of the issue with the BYU crowd was the hangover and shock still lingering from USC. There was no momentum. The momentum came to a screeching halt with one QB sneak. I think it's starting to ratched itself back up and with a win tomorrow, I think it will stay up through the bowl game.

In TW's first season they went 10-2 and no BCS.

I'm not 100% that winning out will get them there. So much depends on the teams in front of them and what they do.

That and winning the last four games.

Ty's first team ended on a down note. Much it has to do with late season momentum. We're 14th now, and eligible at 12. You have to think winning out would get this team eligible, and with the hype, the BCS would be crazy not to take a 9-2 ND team.

Ryan O'Leary of BGI has confirmed that Young and Wenger will not be coming to ND tomorrow.

They are going to try and reschedule for Navy or 'Cuse.
