I'm sorry, but a bit disappointed. BK should not have been so conservative when style points are needed. We should have throttled these guys buy at least 5 TDs. I'll take the win, but I hate sitting here watching such a painful game.

No style points, but I think they said we lost to BC 6 straight times not long ago. I'd like to see Kelly keep the foot on the gas, not milk a small lead with conservative play calling so much. Shembo was boss, Riddick and Golson carried the offense.

Does anyone know why Russell didn't return. I didn't see the play or what happened, hopefully only precautionary. I thought Daniels brought his collarbone when I saw him run off but let's hope it's only a separated shoulder or something less severe.

Kind of a yawner of a game, but i would much rather have a nice double digit game than any more drama. Also GO CAL!!!!

I really don't think BK gives a rat's @$$ about style points. I think he was content to call a game that got us a two touchdown win and not open up the playbook anymore than possible.

I did it earlier in the game thread but it's dangerous to project one performance into another game. Just because BC was able to pass the ball around doesn't mean we'll have the same plan against USC. I mean we shut down OU pretty well and their offense is just as explosive. Each game is different and it's tough to say what will happen.

Too bad about the two fumbles. Probably cost us at least one TD, which would have helped in the style points. But I understand why we didn't chuck it just to run up the score. That's how you get in trouble.
Our defense is just downright suffocating. Hope K Russell isn't badly hurt.

I think the way our O has played, hanging a quarter of a hundred is more likely.

I thought our defense looked tired in the 1st half, but again turned it on and dominated when it mattered.

A disappointing effort by the offense. It should have been at least 35-6, but sloppy play and two letdowns by the O-line in 2nd half drives hurt us. We simply don't have the killer instinct on offense that we have on defense.

If/when Golson recognizes and releases deep passes earlier, look out. We are not executing long passes because he's late getting the ball downfield.

Hard to believe we could go undefeated and not be in the Championship game, but people are rightfully pessimistic about our offense. That being said, our defense may be good enough for us to beat anybody. USC is going to be a good test of that theory.

Still lots of games to be played.

I'm fine with this.... I think Theo runs the ball more aggressively. I've said it for 4 years....Cierre dances like he he belongs on a reality show. He was more impressive last year but this year, he's got competition for snaps and the other fellas have been just as productive.

Anybodyelse think game had some sort of flat feeling? Not a ton of emotion. Cierre is likely in doghouse for fumble on the goal line last week by Kellys remarks in one of last weeks pressers if you read between the lines.

Riddick a solid/great back but in my mind when you need a W most I would give more carries to Cierre. He always seems to nearly get 7-10yds and can break it long.This might bite us in the but eventually. Also, Atkinson looked a bit "off" tonight again??
