I would love to hear this just before the team comes out.

WAKE UP - THE ARCADE FIRE - GLASTONBURY 2007 - YouTube

I have actually been in the front of 80,000 people screaming this. It is magical. Play the build up :)13-:43) after a second down and leading to the third down, which leads into the chorus chant :)43-1:03....possibly repeatable) while the play is signaled in through the offense lining up. Obviously you'd use the studio track so the trumpet isn't so off key and the bass is much, much louder.

Holy Mother of God. I have no words for what that would be like at a night game.

ND won't play this, but they played it at Florida State in one of the games I was watching and it got the crowd hyped

This would be a great choice that would never happen. A lot of MMG or Rick Ross would be good pump-up. Mercy & Clique would be pretty good. 2012 has been weak for pump up music though.

I think it's more likely that the administration ends the football program than playing this. Heavy rap it's my thing exactly, but I'm not even sure that this would pump the ND crow up. Maybe I'm misjudging ND. They don't seem like a heavy rap crowd.

Two other versions:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/5OmMPaLmxKg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

It would be unbelievable. Penn State started turned Seven Nation Army into a chant (in America), Notre Dame should start something new and better, imagine this but better:

Was just gonna suggest Ima Boss. They could just use the background music.

Some of these suggestions make me cringe. Do they really pump you up?

Some of the other songs are awesome but the problem is they aren't the most popular songs. ND only gets to play like a 10 sec clip that must instantly resonate with the crowd to get them to stand and cheer.

Irish Nuke-Walk by Pantera was played so damn loud in our high school locker room. I am not a huge heavy metal rock guy but for some reason on Fridays at 6:45 I didn't want to hear anything else.

I feel like a limp bizkit song would sound cool (no lyrics, obviously). I can't think of which one. But they have 'pump-up' style beats, though.

If'n we're going to "shake down the thunder", then Thunderstruck, by AC/DC, makes logical sense?

I must have missed something...... you can't just copy and paste the embed code from youtube here anymore?
