My dad's friend at work is neighbors with both the head coach (George Novak) and one of the defensive coaches of Woodland Hills, Darrin's high school. His defensive coach said that Walls is announcing for the Irish on Monday.

Anyway, just thought I'd share that with everyone. I know its hearsay, and things could theoretically change at the last minute, but I'm liking our chances a whole lot more now.

If Walls picks PSU or PITT he is not a visionary. Yeah Let me see I could play for Wanny who had one good season in the NFL to choke in the 1st week of the playoffs or I could play for JoePA and constantly hear my name pronounced wrong enough times that the coach will just refer to me as the guy who made a good play in the secondary. OR I could go to a program that is on track to contend for "The Big Game" and get my name dropped in to the ears of every NFL scout who knows that they are getting a fine tuned machine under CW's system.

Chris Leak is overrated by the way. Did you ever watch how long it takes the ball to get to his WR. He does throw a nice, slow rainbow. His velocity is his weakness. ESPN hypes him up way to much.

There's some rumblings around on the Rivals Main message board that a local Pitt recruiting writer thinks Walls is going to Pitt. And Wandstedt made a comment saying that he's postive they'll have a top 10 or better when they get a 5 star recruit. Hope he's just blowin smoke.
