I had the privilege of traveling to East Lansing for the game while a junior at ND in 2006. One of my favorite memories, and something that always stuck out to me as hilarious, was watching the MSU players come out to 'defend' their 50 yard line from a retaliatory flag planting. Sorry to disappoint, Sparty, but we are not a group of classless *******s.

another favorite is the mixture of near-alcohol poisoning and pain displayed on the soaking wet faces of the 10,000 MSU students immediately to my left. Yes! your tears taste so sweet, Sparty.

the chants of WE ARE ND leaving that stadium will echo in my ears until the day I die.

I was there in 2005 and that flag planting **** pissed me off.

I was in a mexican restaurant when this happened and I stood up and yelled at the TV when they did this. It really got to me. Needless to say, 2006 was sweet revenge. And I've had a much more intense hate for sparty ever since.

That might be the best 15 minutes of radio in the history of radio.

John L. Smith turned MSU into a joke, but they've have a solid (not great) history with Duffy Daugherty, George Perles, Nick Saban and now D'Antonio. This is a good rivalry, which I hope continues.
