I forget which site I read it on but one of the analysts said we could be running third behind UF and Stanford.
I gotcha

Who is the faculty member?
I signed up for the football class this past fall, assuming Tressel would be around to teach it like he norma did. He obviously got canned, and some fat *** became the teacher and talked about how much he loved Ohio State sports and was a life-long fanatic. In his rant he talked about the glory of Ohio State and even insulted Brian Kelly, calling him a "loose cannon." I proceeded to instantly drop the class via my phone and walk out.
Urban Meyer is teaching in this fall. You can bet the farm I'll be taking it.
Heistand and Martin visiting his HS Tommorow.
BTW we were in his Final 4 per II before he committed
Go get'em boys, I want this kid!!! If we get Anzalone, Smith, along with Rochell and the guys we have now, ooooohhh boy.
Got a hunch he will be irish, rkg.
This is a perfect example of why a commit from Smith sooner than later would pay dividends for recruiting, especially on the D side of the ball, ans even more specifically at LB.

according to a local 247 writer here in pa, he stated last night on a radio show i listen to; that Penn State had a lot of ground to cover in regards to him...selling the school has been the hardest hurdle according to him...he stated ND,UF,STANFORD AND even prob USC are ahead of PSU
BY THE WAY: that "guy" was arrested for a violation of megans law for contacting indvs under the age of 18
Per PSU 247:
Focusing on 4 as other updates have suggested (PSU, ND,UF, Stanford) though he says he may still consider USC and OSU. PSU really pushing their BA/MBA program that only 12 people get into each year. He is well aware of our undergrad ranking. Will take some more trips this summer and has no timetable.
It is obvious, I believe, that UF is his preference but the question remains if there is room. He planned to take the visit there before the story came out about that creepy fan and had told the OSU coaches he was having second thoughts and needed to see other schools.
I'm not saying the kid isn't/won't be smart enough to be one of those 12, but can you imagine if you were a gen pop student and you were number 13 and Anzalone is 12? You cannot tell me that if you have 13 students vying for 12 spots in program, that a guy who is balancing school with major college football (travel, practice, media obligations, injuries, tomfoolery, etc.) is going to be more qualified than a genpop kid with the same courseload. Academic assistance for atheletes at these big schools is designed to keep guys eligible, not to facilitate Rhodes Scholars.
I see this recruitment going else where. Meaning not ND's way.

This was from TJ last night
"We have other ILB prospects we're high on, including guys who project Outside or Inside. We've talked about a number of them already from among the offered LBs. Anzalone is in the mix for a spot somewhere, but our current visits to him/HS are as much about inquiring (due diligence) as they are selling."
Odds favor him going elsewhere."
All i am saying is it's not like we are hurting at the line backer position right now. and the staff might be higher on some other guys.

So, GB is this just about, another guy may fit the system better, kind of thing with our staff? And are they going their to find out his interest level and potentially reevaluate their current board?

You know my man I really wish I could help you out. But it sounds like Alex is high on the board but how high is his upside. He doesn't play against the best competition. Not saying Alex cant ball. But i would believe that Chans Cox, Jaylon Smith, Dough Randolph and others fall into the same category. Meaning Cox might play inside but if we have Jaylon and Doug on the outside where does Alex fit in? I hope this helps you understand it better.

Exactly! Just looking for verification. Heard a couple of buzzes and blahs about others. So I think I really know what you mean. There is another question too.
imo...alex is an inside guy at the next level where ever he ends up.
