The biggest story moving forward is what Yeatman will do with all of this. And the most definitive statement about what he stands for, beyond the headlines, is that during his suspension Yeatman will not be shopping for a new school. Instead he will stay, face the punishment and try to fight his way back up the depth chart next spring.

many people in his situation just walk away thinking the problem is the school and they can leave it behind if they just find another school. good for him. stay and make a change.

I am SOOOO proud of Yeatman for this, sure he has made many mistakes but he is not running away, he understands this and I will be SHOCKED if he is charged with anything again during his career at ND

Before Yeatman There Was...

For you guys too young to remember, great (I mean really great) Defensive End Ross Browner and two other players (Willie Fry and Luther Bradley, also exceptional players) were suspended for an entire year and came back and played. The fact that they did not transfer was a testament to ND.

The actual reason for the action was not revealed then. But here's a story about Browner that describes it more fully:
