WR Recruiting 2007

There is a ton of talent at WR for the taking for Nd. Which guys do you think ND will go after the hardest?

Obviously Benn is a top priority, but we might have him locked up if Clausen comes to town.

There is a ton of other big time talent such as Bonner, Clemons, and Little.
If were going to continue with these great qbs we have recruited were going to have to have someone to catch it.

i'd like to see ND bring in any three of these WRs.

Arrelious Benn
Wyane Bonner
Tony Clemons
D.J. Donley
Roger Holland
Greg Little
Malcolm Williams
Paul Willson
Terrance Toliver

I hope they consider Mark Barnes at WR.

Otherwise, Benn, Little and Bonner would be nice.

Clemons is a buddy of Darrin Walls. I like Tolliver, but I don't think he's leaving far from home.

Any top receiver would be great. I'm so jealous of SC that they are able to get such good wide outs every year. And this year they added Vidal. Dam them!

yes USC got Vidal but we got REASHON MCNEIL and he'll shut down Vidal like he did in the all-american game.

I want Benn the most, but I think you have to get Jimmy first.

Im just excited that nd has a shot at so many of these top wr's. When was the last time that 3 or 4 5 star receivers had nd as a candidate for their college choice, not to mention all the other ,not so highly toughted, receivers that are right there as well. It is just amazing how things have changed so quickly.

College football is so much better when ND is good, wait a minute , great.

... and a really quick gamebreaker

My thoughts exactly. I think the 'really quick gamebreaker' is Tony Clemons. It'll be tough to get him, though. But, if he does look to go out-of-state, then ND has a decent chance considering that Clemons went to school with Darrin Walls.

Michigan has offered Greg Little.

I'm not sure what the hold up is with Little, but ND hasn't offered him yet for some reason. I hope they are able to and do so soon.

i think the reason ND hasn't offered yet is because they're still waiting on his test scores.

Could be.

Duke has offered him. Maybe just because he's from Durham, but I'm pretty sure they take their academics seriously too.

I hope ND can get him, I just hope it isn't too late.

Needs an offer first.

ND will take 3 WR at the most in this next class and they'll probably hold out for Mr. Benn.

Those other two spots could fill quickly.

i guess right now i'd like to see ND bring it these three WRs.

Arrelious Benn (CW's #1 WR target, enough said)
Wyane Bonner (great size, great hands and great leaper)
Deonte Thompson (speed, speed, speed)

Dwight Ellick had more than enough speed, but still was avg at best. These guys need game speed.

True game speed is the most important, but it is nice if the kid can run a 4.4 starting right out the gate. The more experience they get and knowlege of the game they get that speed will come in awefully handy. You have to remember we have coaches now, unlike the years before CW got here.

I was listening to a month-old Irish Eyes Power Hour over the weekend and they were saying that they thought ND looked really good for Toney Clemons.
