My wife, little boy, and I went to see a womens soccer game the weekend we were up for the G.T. game. I think they were playing Michigan. It was cool. One chick would turn a flip when she threw the ball into play. It was a good experience, We were glad we went.

VICTORY! ND won 3-2 on a freezing night. We led 2-0 with goals from Weisennhoffer and Bock, Duke scored twice to tie it up, and then Kerri Hanks scored the deciding goal with about 15 minutes left.

Now onto the College Cup, we play FSU next.

It ends up the deciding goal was actually tipped in by Weissenhoffer, so Hanks got the assist instead.

I haven't seen this in print anywhere, but I heard the game Friday is on at 5 on espn2.

And the men's soccer team is on to the Elite 8. I guess we're a power house in a different kind of football.

damn...what time was it on? i completely missed it. and yea, ND's soccer programs are pretty good, both mens and womens. we went up for the BC ND weekend (aka #1 UConn v #3 ND)

Eventhough I can't stand the ND coach, Randy Waldrum, he can sure the hell coach a team!!! The guy has a huge ego and doesn't want anything to do with anyone outside of his team!!! I waited on the team several years ago at a restaurant I worked at and Waldrum was such an a**!!! The team was awesome though!!! Go girls!!!

not a huge deal, but it kinda bugs me, ND doesn't do the whole "lady" Irish thing. All the ND teams are just the Irish.

and yes, there is a chance to play USC for the ship. USC plays UCLA in the other semis.

Hey if they really love the irish the way my brothers and I were raised then they'll be watching the game and yelling at the t.v. My dad raised us that the only college or university worth anything was Notre Dame and we root for all the teams. It also doesn't hurt that besides being Irish on both sides of the family I'm also Catholic. And to even make it things more interesting I live in bucknut territory.

Well looks like the game against free shoes U will be braodcast on ESPN2 and ESPNU it starts 4:30pm!!! Interestingly, the other game is UCLA against USCless!!! I would love to be able to mash the sh*t out of the condoms!!! However, UCLA is really strong and I see them beating the condoms!!! Either way I think our chances of winning the whole thing are about 85%!!! On a final note...the Championship game will be played on Sunday and starts at 1pm....on ESPN2!!!
