I think he's pretty much washed up. He will reamain at Notre Dame as a student which is a smart thing on his part. Too bad for the kid.

I've heard that his career is over due to a chronic shoulder injury. I'm assuming this occurred at South Bend as I don't recall him being seriously injured in HS.

There still remains doubt, however; as no official public statement has been forthcoming from the coaching staff &/or Webb.

I read recently that he received a second opinion last month and he's still holding out hope for there is a mighty slim chance he may be able to play. I cant find the article, so please correct me if I'm incorrect.
