Why are we not more excited about Atkinson III at RB?

he is going to be great with his skills, speed and that extra gear...he wasn't panning out at WR which BK alluded to and said he will be at RB....he was in a wing t offense in high school which is completely different than what he will be doing as a rb at ND...the whole 9 carries for 27 yards are completely irrelevant...he got those carries in game situations that the def knew we would be running

Because, as others have said, he looks too skinny to play RB.

That does not mean he can't (a) gain weight, (b) be an exception to the rule even if he doesn't gain weight.

This really doesn't natter right now be cause he is lights out on special teams. Whats that say to you that they are kicking away from him. I think this weekend would be a great weekend to take punts too. Let him practice doing this week no tagainst an over powerful team. This could make him really special.
