I have got to believe he will play. Shark, Mo, Rhema, Shelton, Fasano....a lot a passing yards for Quinn.

From what I understand from the last press conference Rhema will be playing. But Weis is not the type of coach to give away estimated man power to the enemy so he didn't come out and say it.
I think it would be gret to have him at slot and have the two tall wideouts on the outside. Every now and then bring Shelton in as the second slot.
Im thinking we are going to have acouple trick plays ran that we have not seen in a while like the flea flicker and statue of liberty that we have seen so far.

He learned from the best, Parcells and Belicheck never wanted to give up anything, I remember a few years ago one of those two got in trouble from the NFL for not disclosing injuries correctly.

Nope not that I have seen. From the looks of the injury it is obviously a minor tear or hyper extension of one of the ligaments. WHen it happened it looked like his foot went to the outside so possibly a minor medial cruciate ligament tear. When players normally have injured knees its usually a severe ACL (anterior) or PCL (posterior) tear which are the most common type of knee injury which requires surgery.

Thanks for the info. Let's hope he's ok to play vs Southern Cal! We will need all of our weapons.

Yeah, I remember his leg looking kind of funky when it got bent the wrong way. If he's playing, I have to assume that it was his MCL, and not too severe. I had a borderline grade three MCL tear a couple years ago, where it was almost completely torn in half, but I was told that it heals the quickest, and without surgury (well for me since I'm not a world class athlete). I was pretty banged up for 3 weeks, and only at like 60% after a month. I'm guessing Rhema's wasn't too severe, and he did some serious PT. I'm hoping it will stand up to the pounding of a tough and physical defense. The main concern would be if he were to favor that knee. If he's not at least 90-95%, then I don't know if it would be best to play him much. We need him to explode off the line of scrimmage, and take the condoms secondary to school.

Condoms defense - only 74% effective.

Bob Morton will play and McKnight is probable, from what Weis said in today's Chicago Sun Times.

"I'm just trying to get Rhema to 100%."

It would be hard to be a senior and sit out your last USC game especially the way your QB is playing right now. We will need everybody to pull this off.

I agree kind of like Matt Shelton was used in the Bowl game. More of a decoy deep threat when he wasn't 100%.

Has ND ever had this many good receivers, were stacked. I'm telling you guys, we matchup extremely well with USC's offense. I also think are front 7 is as good as theirs, and USC secondary has not been very impressive this year. The only one big advantage is Weis..

Between Stovall, Shark, Shelton, Fasano and Carlson, the ball will get distributed. Walker will get carries, as will RPN. I hope to see Travis Thomas as well.

McKnight would be another cog in the machine, but they've been running fine without him. I'd rather him healthy for the stretch run than come back too early.
