Live updates: College football recruiting scoop throughout June (247sports.com)
- Here is a fun national article from Wiltfong talking about some specific prospects visit plans. It sounds like it'll be update throughout the month of June.

Let's Discuss
A couple of weeks back I mentioned how well ND has done with it's recruiting department. With Irish Invasion in the books and the June visit list largely set, I wanted to take a few minutes to go over that again with some details that I found interesting.

By 247's count, ND has already offered 100 2023 prospects. According to our visit list count, we will have approx. 80 2023 visitors to campus during the month of June. Now, not all of those 80 have offers but that's a very impressive feat in and of itself. Of those approximate 80, a little over 30 of those prospects are currently 4 star or better prospects. Of those 30, they come from approx 17 different states. So, in the span of one month, the staff will have gotten 30+, 4star+, prospects on campus, two years before they are making their college decisions final. In reality, it's more like one year before a lot of them start making decisions but you get the point. And this isn't including the talent from the 2024 class that will also be making it's way to campus.

Why does this matter? The significance will be in getting repeat or multiple visits. A lot of these guys will now have a full year to get back on campus prior to their OV's whether that be for a game, banquet, spring practice, etc. One would assume that if we can get this much top talent to come to campus for an event like II, we can get a good number of these guys to come back for a game in the Fall or at the very least an OV next year. Essentially, we should be getting a 2nd or 3rd visit from a lot of these prospects. That's a very big deal.

So, while the staff has a lot of work to do with regards to closing out the 2022 class during the month of June. They've already laid some serous groundwork for the 2023 class well in advance of it mattering. I think this is truly incredible stuff by the recruiting department. Hats off to all the ladies and gentlemen that have put this together and it feels like we'll be talking about this for weeks to come.

PS, for the fact checkers out there. I tried to get as accurate with those numbers as possible but if they are off by a couple here or there, my apologies, the broader point still holds.
