Dude, for the sake of sanity I will tell you that I coached in SoCal and Ohio on both levels, coached against Oaks Christian in two sports, won a state title twice... not a scout.. a coach.

... again, ... this is why the world can't stand Notre Dame fans. You have little sense of perspective or identity. I am not saying TW was a coaching genius. I am only saying his first 7 games were better than CW's.

-He beat 3 ranked teams, and week 8 beat a fourth. , CW was 3-1 and had a freaking Flag platned in the field.


Honestly, I am not even a Notre Dame fan. I USED to be. But the ridiculous crowd of clowns that root for ND with total myopia or a misplaced sense of importance... the ability to ignore decades of futility... the rationalization to excuse years of weak scheduling... and STILL will say they expect "Next Year, WE should be competing for and winning BCS games."

It's impossible to respect fans that are that irrational. Army football used to matter. Syracuse football used to matter. Notre Dame football used to matter. The road back is so much longer than the majority of ND fans believe.

So,.... yes ND should win around 9 games in 2009. UW, Wazzou... and the like will be one of the weakest schedule in Div I. ND will get a bowl matchup they can't handle and the futility will continue.
