WalMart Blackmailing Thieves?

It's a choice though. They could waive the fine and class and face the law. I'd prefer if every thief was prosecuted to the full extent of the law by every store.

The moral of the story here is if you're gonna steal something, it should be valued at >$400 to make it worthwhile. Meanwhile, some idiot is gonna end up coughing up $400 over a candy bar.

The irony in all this: it's Lafayette, where the douchebag Dean of Student Affairs at Purdue was caught shoplifting a few years ago. Couldn't have happened to a bigger POS.
