Walls out for Fall Semester and Hord to Transfer

Don't worry, I know all the rumors have been put to rest... I have seen no reports of Darrin attending any of the fall camp/two-a-day practices. Can anyone confirm this? I'm sure his schedule doesn't allow for much free time, but I am very surprised not to hear that he has attended any practices for support?

Could you really blame him though if he didn't go to practices? I mean a month ago he was on the team getting ready for the season and now he can't be a part of it on the field. That's a tough pill to swallow sometimes. Might even be a good thing, keep his head on straight so that he can concentrate on whatever issue is keeping him off the field.

last i read he is taking classes with the intent of re-enrolling in ND next year.

I hope that he returns as soon as he can. I believe that he has the ability to be one of the best corners we have seen in a while.

If he returns soon our secondary has the talent and coaching to be something special.
Finally a position where we have quality depth.

love your optimism but we have a few teams to get through before that happens. also, even if he could i don't think charlie would go down that road. the guys that got the team to that point would be rewarded with pt.

No. He can't play until the spring semester begins, which is Jan. 11 or something like that. Similarly with RPN being suspended for the fall semester in 2005, that included the bowl game.

Actually, he can't even play then, if his problems were grade related. An NCAA DI-A player has to be academically eligible, in the previous semester, in order to play. That's why you see alot of kids who have to take summer classes. Their grades slipped during the Spring, so they have to use the Summer term to qualify.
