In the article it says Ben ran a 4.38! thats great, but you're telling me every man that has ran a legit 4.38 or under is bs????

Is Ben J faster, i would say yes but these are the true #'s!!

Once again, the 100M Olympic final is a sprint; not an endurance race. In the final, they aren't pacing themselves during the race. You would have an argument about the 200M; but not wrt the 100M. Once again, the 50 and 60M times for Johnston were AHEAD of both Donovan Bailey and Mo Greene!!!

Are the times under Johnston's calculated time bs? Kind of; they are not measured the way that the IAAF would measure. Agree with the point that Electronic timing improves consistency (assuming conditions are consistent across various camps), but the timing at the NFL combines is not based on a reaction start (ADD about 0.2secs to the times).

Someone else brought up the 0.3 seconds not me,

The 20 to 60yds was an example thats all i don't know how it was measured.

Track guys have to react to the gun. 40 timing starts when the player starts. This is approximately 0.2 seconds. Take 0.2 off any track 40yd to equal an electronically timed 40.

Interesting site with 40times for the 2006 roster. According the this site, the "slow" ND secondary was Ndukwe 4.56, Richadson 4.55, Zibby 4.48, Wooden 4.39, and Lambert 4.38.
