BTW, Cal, it was 3.5 about 90 minutes ago. Saw the line move. I said that in the other thread too, I'm just not one of those pee-rix that says go search through 18 pages of a thread to find a single post. Interesting that the line is moving more in our favor....

I looked at the Wynn's line, its the only major Vegas sportsbook that has released lines yet... but if it moved a 1/2 point already people are throwing money at ND again

Seriously man, you've been a member for a few months, your thread policing is wildly annoying and needs to stop, unless you have some authority that we don't know about. There is nothing wrong with starting a thread about the line of this game. People can't come on here and go through pages and pages of other threads to get info. We won't get new members that way. This is a message board. We aren't trying to hide nuclear weapon secrets. Calm down.

Right. Vegas is in the business of making money. They take emotion and overreaction completely out of the equation when making these lines. Frankly I was surprised, I thought UM would be a slight favorite. They clearly saw the ND was the better team, and realized a 5 turnover game was a blip on the radar as opposed to a sign of things to come.

Yes, that is what the other posts said. It started at 3.5, people were betting on ND to cover, so they moved the line to 4, to intice more people to bet on UM to balance the book.

True, but he can also just add this info regarding UM in the...gee, I dunno...OFFICIAL UM game thread instead of starting a new thread for each and every thought that pops into his head. Not trying to be that guy (forum police), but the # of threads is getting out of hand, especially considering more than 1/2 could be condensed into 2 or 3 threads max.

As for the spread, I really would prefer ND either be even or the dog in this one going in...

Does that keep you up at night?? Who cares?? If the mods feel that something should be shut down, they will do it. They are all very smart people. No one wants to come onto this board, especially a guest who might be thinking of joining, and have to do research to find info. They want it readily available. Like I said if the mods want to close it, they've earned that right. This holier than thou you can't start new threads attitude is incredibly annoying and it is driving people away.

The Hilton which is a much more respected sports book out here has ND as a 4.5 favorite

Other games to take note of:

usc is 10 point favorite over Utah

purdue 2 point favorite over Rice

TCU 1.5 favorite over Air Force

Alabama 10 point fav over Penn St.
