I think reductions are definately necessary but I dont agree with blanket changes.... I think they should be done some what proportionatly.... you are giving people who have contributed to the league through posts and activity the same amounts as people who have done nothing... It doesnt have to be drastically different but should reflect the difference.... also, i think if peoples suggestion to make the sports book betting on the spread instead of win loss we would not have gotten to this point and that needs to be addressed..

We've done it that way before and we've never run into any problems. There isn't really any need for most people to have as much money as they do.

I agree that there is no need for the amounts of money some people have... my two suggestions are to not have blanket reductions but have it some what proportional and second change the way we do betting on games so we wont get into the same situation... I am not a moderator so I dont have a vote and it is not a big deal... just a suggestion

There's nothing that would do that automatically, LMI would have to go though and figure it all out by percentage or whatever, and I think that would be kind of unreasonable for us to expect one person to do all that over some fake money. We've done it this way in the past multiple times and it worked out just fine and I'm sure it will again. You have the money now so if you've been wanting to buy something I suggest that you do it soon. We have been discussing this issue for sometime, and we have already made our final decision on how we're going to do it and it is comming soon, we just thought it would be polite to let everyone know it was comming this time unlike last time.

I already adjusted the betting figures before you even mentioned something and that should help a little bit, and there may be more changes there to come in the future

It can be set up to disallow multiple bets, but then this may rule out betting on the over and under or any other side bets unless you do it at the same time and if that's still possible then I suppose you'd be able to bet on both teams at the same time as well.

Betting with only the spread would allow you to bet one way or the other, period. Putting in way reduced odds on just a W/L, like instead of .75 you'd get .33. With the spread you get .75.
Now obviously not being here for previous purges I don't what happens, and how shit is reduced, maybe someone can walk me through it?

Here's the plan. Make a sportsbook bet that says Who will win the World Series with an option on the bottom paying out 1 to 1 of "I Don't Care". That takes care of the interest we'd loose out on and we'd get our vbucks in time for USC vs. ND and other great college football games.
