To change a QB's style you have to study him first. Analyze him before making changes. One of the best ways to train is by example watching a pass that's thrown right and what's done wrong such as throwing an interception.
Brady continues to develop more confidence.

Q. is Sharpley developing that way
A. I'm not going to speak specifically about an individual. I feel good about the QB position. We're making progress.

Q. What's the difference at this point between last year and this?
A. We've been through it before. Except for the freshman. The players the coaches, we're not doing it for the first time.

Q. Are you more comfortable now.
A. As soon as you get comfortable you're in trouble. You always want to get better.

Q. How much should QBs improve.
A. Take the QB out of it. How much did you improve during your freshman year?

Q. Can you give first impressions on Zach and Demetrious.
A. No. not on individuals. But we're further along than last year. It's been a good start. A good four days.

Q. When you get guys with different strengths do you adjust your coaching.
A. Find their strengths and emphasize those and their weaknesses and work on them. You coach them individually physically and mentally.

Q. ND runs a certain kind of offense. If ND had Vince Young ND would find a way to coach Vince Young. When you find a guy that extraordinary you find a way to highlight his skills.
A. I'm not going to put words in Coach Weis' mouth. But all we want to do is find a way to win. If that means we have to run 100 times a games, we'll run a 100 times a game. Coach Weis' offense has enough flexiblity to run put 5 wides on the field or 3 TEs or 2 RBs. The offense has that flexibility.

I think that last question was asked by Avani Patel of the Chicago Tribune. I thought it was the best question posed. Her readers are probably anxious to know what Charlie is going to do with Demetrious. Vaas made it crystal clear.
