I have put together an ultimate fantasy sports league. It is made up of 4 sections each equaling on quarter of the value of the final total for the league. Fantasy Baseball, Fantasy Basketball, Fantasy Football, and the ‘Big Ten events’.
There is one draft where you draft full rosters of baseball, football and basketball players. You can draft in any order, for example, if you want Jimmy Kleinssaser in the first round that is ok or you can take John Smoltz. Players can be traded across leagues as long as everyone keeps a complete roster….for example…. If you have Kevin Garnett and want Brady Quinn you can trade across leagues as long as you balance the trade with another football and basketball player …. For example…Kevin Garnett and Jimmy Kleinsasser for Brady Quinn and Chris Quinn…
The Big Ten Events include:
Kentucky Derby
Daytona 500
March Madness
Superbowl Sheet
BCS Bowls
US Open Golf
US Open Tennis
Indy 500
Nascar Points Championship
NHL Playoffs
(if you guys would like to alter these that can be done easily)
Each team must choose a City and nickname, for example, Cincinnati Redlegs or the Moscow Midgets… once you pick a name you are stuck with it until the season starts the following year.
The point systems work like this
Winner for baseball, football and basketball each get 100 points and then 2nd place gets 90 and so on. The big ten events are worth 10 for first 9 for second and so on. So if you win all ten events you will have 100 points.
There are also 10 bonus categories for baseball, basketball and football that are all worth 2.5 points a piece….that should help with preventing ties…these categories include MVP, Cy young, Most Rushing TD’s ect…
I have a whole spread sheet filled out for the league if any one is interested let me know and I will start a yahoo groups page were we can set it all up….
Win4Gipper…. Also feel free to ask any questions and I can answer them instead of trying to post every rule here in the IE forum
