I dont wanna sound like an arrogant douche, but I just got my luxary box suite seats for UFC 65 here in Sacto...it is gonna rock, catered food, tv screens, chicks and what not...i got the seats for free from a connection i have at the sacramento bee...you know the seats are pricey when there is no price on the tickets...ebay has lower level seats going for $2500...Sylvia by KO in RD1 and Hughes by ref stoppage in RD2

GSP is going to have a better showing. He has more intensity, strength, agility, and stamina than Penn. Hughes isnt caking it.

GSP may be strong, but stronger than Hughes, no way...Everyone who fights Matt all say the same thing, Matt's strength is soooo impresive...Frank Trigg said that when he was fighting Matt the 2nd time that it was like "holding onto a piece of concrete" Matt will take him down and finish him

Yeah, sometimes I just start seeing red, too. Anyways, I think Penn is far more technical, and very flexible, more than GSP. But what did him in was his inability to close out that triangle, and it just wore him out. I dont think the same would happen with GSP. The kid has all the energy in the world. This match is going to be the best fight of the year. I dont even think Tito Liddell is going to match.

I think GSP is much better when it comes to conditioning, but I am afraid Hughs has much more strength.

The only aspect of GSP game that is better than Matt's is his striking. Matt has excellent wrestling, very good but not great BJJ, his striking is not very technical...BJ dominated the first round with strikes he controlled the begininng if the second round and then gassed out after the triangle and armbar combination...i dont think GSP is going to keep him from taking him down, and that is why he will lose.

o man sylvia by ko in 1st rd id like to disagree monson wont let that happen and take it to the ground. If it goes to the ground sylvia is in lots of trouble which i think will happen so Monson by submission im gonna go with a arm triangle. As for the GSP Hughes fight i think St.Pierre will win this one and since both have great stamina and are very evenly matched im gonna say they go all 5 rounds and GSP gets the decision... anyways Nayers im very jealous man, have fun and wish i could go to UFC event let alone luxury suites!

ya you lucky son of a gun!!!!!!!! I really think hughes will have problems with GSP in a rematch hes just so athletic. I really like GSPs personality he always seems to be a very good person which i like to see in a champion. As for sylvia big deal he beat monson which im still not impressed by!! Hes the worst champion of all the UFC champs which may not be his fault since the heavyweight division in ufc is so weak. Match him up with Fedor, Crocop, and/or Nogueira and hes in a lot of trouble.......

Fedor would eat him alive...but i also think he will lose his next fight to Brandon Vera

GSP will dominate Hughes once again. GSP beat up on Hughes for the first 4:30 of the first fight, and for the entire fight this time around. I don't think that even Hughes believes he can beat GSP. There was talk of him having one more fight after GSP and then retiring, I can't remember against whom. But I believe the rumors were that he would fight Anderson Silva for the 185 title and then call it quits.

Vera will dominate the HW division for a long time. Vera will even beat Aleks if the UFC does bring him over. I was lucky enough to have rolled with Vera when I was in San Diego. The guy is a brown belt in jiu jitsu, but he is known as a world class kickboxer. That is deadly.

That's right. I forgot we have to watch the boring GSP v. Serra fight. There is a reasson why TUF 4 had such weak rankins, and that is because the fighters were not that great.

There are many fighters that deserve a shot at GSP before Serra, like Diego. And I would love for the UFC to bring back Jason Miller. And if BJ could get back in shape, he would dominate GSP again.

I was happy to see Vera win. I would love for him to win the HW title. A big part of that is because I hate watching that boring ass Sylvia fight. Sylvia has not been an exciting fighter since he stop taking steroids.

Im pretty sure i heard somewhere that Penn is gonna cut and fight in the lightweight division again. I agree sylvia is the most boring champiion I dont really think hes proved anything to me in his last two fight the both went to decision. I mean im not sayin he didnt win the fight last nite becasue he did but really what did he do to win it he wasnt dominating at all.

I thought this site is all about Irish football. What the hell are you guys talking about and why are you doing it here? I and many others really don't give a hoot about the fight game, if that is what you are posting about!

No way. I wish I would have gotten into it when I was younger. I wrestled for leagues from the time I was 8 until I finished high school in 93. And I boxed from like 14 until I was about 22. And this was when I was a tiny 5'10" and 160 lbs. I would get smoked in MMA competitions.

I went to college a little older and started about 3 years after high school. Once that started, I just stopped training. I began training again for about 2 years while I was in SD. But I stopped when I moved up to Sac about 1 year ago. The gyms here are expensive.

It is addicting though. I don't know why I stopped. Maybe once football season is over I'll start up again. :boxing:
