Oh yeah, Rose is a pretty good player. I think he'll never see his soph season at Memphis. BTW-Joey Dorsey is a punk! He was F-bombing the players, the fans, and the refs. No class at all.

"I walked this campus today," remarked the veteran coach, "and man, I'm stunned. I am stunned. What they've done with the athletic complex, housing, fixing up the fraternities and sororities - they're saying, 'Ohio State, move over.' The office complex, I couldn't believe it. So my hat's off to this university and what they're trying to do.
"When I'm seeing it, I'm like, my goodness, I can see why the Big East wants them in the league so bad. Mick just needs some time to get some players going. It's a tough road right now, but he's got everything he needs to sell."

-John Calipari, Memphis Coach

Huggs has looked better. He actually got an award for best dressed coach one year.

His team looks pathetic. You NEVER give up.

Former Irish QB among candidates for Bearcats starting job
Monday, Feb 18, 2008 11:02 am EST

University of Cincinnati football coach Brian Kelly said that senior Dustin Grutza would be the Bearcats' starting quarterback if the season were to start today.

But Grutza, a two-year starter before Ben Mauk arrived last year to claim the position, will have plenty of competition for the starting job, with most of it expected to come from Notre Dame transfer Demetrius Jones.

"He's clearly one of the best athletes I've had at the position," Kelly said. "He fits our system very well. He's got two of the three qualities that he needs. He fits the system and he's very athletic. The third one is how he responds when it's a live situation and he has to make decisions. We won't know that until the spring."

I recieved my letter sent out to season ticket holders today from Brian Kelly....

He talked a little about recruiting and how his 10 players from instate.... 'We will never back down from other programs recruiting in our backyard'

He also said he will be moving the team to the other sideline going to the east sideline for better TV coverage... pretty cool idea that makes sense if you have ever been to Nippert

My invoice to continue my season tickets is supposed to come in march... I cant wait, the schedule is not as good but it is a great place to watch football!!!

Stoney...are you in the Cincy area... I am out of town hunting a couple weekends a year during the fall so if you want free tickets I am sure I can hook you up at some point...

GO BEARCATS!!!!
