Let's not get too ahead of ourselves. DW will be the starter next year, as he should be. He has proven to be a reliable back who has won some games for us. Plus his help in the passing game both recieving and blocking is irreplaceable.
That being said I think that all these recruits all have a lot to bring to the table. It is awesome to finally have a homerun threat from the backfield and some big bodies that can grind out some short yards when necessary. Our backfield will be very solid next year because we could potentially have a back for every situation which is a luxury we haven't had in two years now.
This will save some of the wear and tear on DW, JA, MP, AA, and hopefully Hughes, plus give them all an opportunity to make plays. I will go so far as to say that you will see a Darius Walker next, year that will be better than all his previous ones now that he may not have to carry all the load.

I'll be REALLY disapointed if Alrdridge and Allen don't get carries next year.
Alrdridge will for sure...hopefully Allen gets some kickoffs and pitches or something.

I'd like to see a nice rotation in the backfield. I know people bitch about DW speed, but he plays nearly every down. He needs to get some rest, and a chnge of pace would be nice, but DW get 20 carries every game in 07 like it or not.
TT does have a fifth year and I'd love to see him and DW together splitting carries together next year more then the rookies.
You gotta keep in mind pass blocking for a rookie QB next year. I don't want to see DJ taking alot of unecessary hits.

you know what...I don't care who is running it as long as they can plow for 10 or explode for 50...I want our opposition to have to be fearful of our running game

Walker will probably get most of the carriers, unless someone else steps up and plays better. Walker will graduate as one of the school's all-time rushers, however, some of these younger guys are going to get some carries and experience next season. So many options, and only 1 ball, I'm sure Meyer and others are wishing they had this problem.
