Not sure how many of you were watching but a player literally flatlined on the field after a helmet to helmet impact.

It took around 20 minutes for them to stabilize him just to get him to the hospital.

Sounds like a great kid, hope he ends up alright.

They said he is conscious and in stable condition at the hospital and appears to be ok for now. Thank God.

According to a TU trainer, Walker suffered a broken neck & collapsed lung. He had to be revived on-field, & a tracheotomy was performed.

Sad to see it happen, but injuries like this is going to hamper the continued viability of football as a sport. More and more parents are opting for safer sports with no real risk of severe life altering/ending injuries.
