I figured this is a football thread since this is the page where the malicious and maladjusted come to antagonize...

I just wasted a few more minutes of my life surfing the espn ND message board, and looking at the same idiotic comments from theteddyjr, highstreetmafia, and other nincompoops that can't just celebrate the success of their own teams. One of the threads had a link to a YouTube video of Alabama and LSU fans laughing HYSTERICALLY at a phony tombstone that recognized the 'death' of Notre Dame Football.

Um, Louisiana-Monroe.

Are there really that many sociopaths that have nothing better to do than attempt to pick fights with ND fans by rehashing their same, simple criticisms in as many threads as possible?

We get it. Charlie's fat, Ty was jobbed, Notre Dame is racist.

I'm sure this is the kind of post/thread that makes them all giggle with glee, but I swear I am about to have a clutcher browsing through these hate-filled posts.

Lord, give me the strength not to rub it in when Notre Dame is back atop the football world. Give me the strength not to compare rap sheets and graduation rates when those with vindictive thoughts attempt to slight our program and our class. Give all of the faithful posters at IE, even Wham, the temerity and pride in our team and University to combat criticism with well-constructed thought and patience; to know when to just be quiet and not respond.

Don't let it get to you, Alum1997. It has always been this way. It will always be this way. There is no other school which has the winning tradition that ND has. So when we are down, they kick us. They know that they better do it now, because ND will be back. They know that ND will be back, and this is their rare moment to get their digs in.
