USC's Robert Farah and Kaes Van't Hof ended a 19-year doubles drought by defeating Ole Miss pair Jonas Berg and Erling Tveit in the NCAA Tennis Championship. It was a day of deja-vus as Fara and Van't Hof had just defeated Ole Miss' Bram ten Berge and Matthias Willerman in a hard fought semi-final to earn a place in the championship match. The first doubles title for USC since 1989, Farah and Van't Hof took their victory in two sets, winning 7-6 (10) and 7-6 (6), both in nail-biting tie-breakers. As reported on the Pac-10 Official Site:

The powerful sophomore-senior combination of Farah and left-handed Van't Hof presented an overwhelming tandem for all comers, as the Trojans entered the NCAA doubles tournament as the No. 2 seed and took a 25-match winning streak into the championship match against fourth-seeded Berg/Tveit of Ole Miss. With the championship win, Farah and Van't Hof will go down in USC history as the 21st Trojan team to win a national doubles championship and fifth NCAA doubles champions.

That's right nation...you got served.
