God, are we so lucky to have this man leading us. Just after his team battled to the end in a street fight. He still had the grace to do this (from an ESPN article):

Afterward, there were more hugs than usual in the USC locker room. The Trojans knew they had done something memorable.

So did Notre Dame's Weis. At exactly 7:15 p.m., Weis took several steps into the Trojans locker room and offered his congratulations.

"That was a hard-fought [bleeping] battle," said Weis, as the USC players shushed each other to hear the Notre Dame coach. "I just want to wish you good luck the rest of the way. I hope you win out."

You think Poodle (or any other coach would do the same?????) Doubt it. Wonder what the "Black Pope" is thinking tonight in Gainsville.......

Its a shame that Pete Carroll cant ever show any class. He has the least class of any coach that I have ever known.

Wonderful gesture, Charlie. Let's see if Pete Carroll returns the favor next year in L.A. ;)

That son of a B*tch was out on the field after every play. I've never seen a coach go so far out onto the field in my life. He might as well have been in the huddle.

SC had quite a few penalties, a few of them personal fouls. Not a very disciplined bunch. Notre Dame has zero depth. SC substitutes on both sides of the ball, especially their D-Line. And it still took them 59:57 to get it done.

Just give Charlie Weis some defensive talent. Sears Trophy.
