How does a game three years ago relevant in the discussion of difficulty of schedule?

All I'm saying is that I don't think ND could beat a decent SEC team. If ND can't beat 2009 Navy team, how would ND compete with Sec,Big 12, or even the Pac 10. We had trouble with Washington, ND just aren't that good. I thought this year ND would finished 10-2 or at least 9-3. It looks like ND will finish 7-5......

It's hard to not be negative when ND only wins 6-7 games a year, even Brian Smith was pissed that they lost to navy twice in 3 years.....I wonder how the rest of the team feels..........

think about it this: could you have pictured yourself predicting this in the 1980s or 1990s? hey, someday, ND is going to have a heisman caliber QB named clausen. he is going to break records. he is going to go pro after three years. and he will lose to navy twice.

Couldn't imagine it. Plenty of cheer on the TideFan board. Winning does that. Interesting that they think ND is one great coach away from a return to glory. They're living it.
