This is one of the greatest leaders that I've ever seen. His leadership is so strong it not only permeates throughout the defense but the offense as well. When BK stated that Manti wanted to talk to Golson before the biggest game of his life, he was all for it. He knew Manti would know the exact right words to say. Golson came out of the conversation smiling and went on to play his best game in an Irish uniform. This team is so close knit and it shows every Saturday. All thanks to a certain guy who decided to take the road less traveled and take on the challengetobringing Notre Dame back where it belongs.. on top.

For me, there hasn't been a ND player in decades that has meant more to this university than MT. I know we were all excited when he chose ND, simply because he was a great athlete. But, ND needed Manti for so many more reasons than that. It's not even a question, Manti is in the same category as the ND greats. I will be telling my future children about how I got to see Manti Te'o play for ND.

My son often asks me who I idolized when I was growing up... Mine, other than my pops, unfortunately was Roger Clemens. Didn't learn of his misdoings until much later in my life but I feel mislead lately in all the nonsense that he used to preach....

I asked my son, "who do you idolize?" Of course, he went all company line on me and said, "You dad....and Manti too because he's a great guy who just wants to help people....and he's a beast. I wan't to grow up like you and Manti."

Hell, I'm just glad to be in the conversation...

Great choice, Kiddo.

He is a class act and a hell of a football player. He's a guy we will talk about for years to come because of the man he is on and off of the field.

If it makes you feel any better I want to grow up to be like my dad... and then YOU.

My dad's bald, I could use some flowing locks.

I honestly feel honored to be in the same graduating class as him...well I guess he's a semester early but you know what I mean.

Right now, ND has two of the classiest "star" athletes in College sports. Between Skylar Diggins and Manti Teo, Domers has a lot to be proud of

I think he's bigger for college football than Notre Dame. Here's a man in time of cheating, money payments, oversigning policies, etc, who does things the right way, and does them at an incredibly high level. Take football out of the picture, and he would be a great person and student. How many people can you say that about?
