Say and think what you want, but CW did not lose us the game all by himself. If you want to blame him, then you have to acknowledge the fact, that his Offense put up some solid numbers.

Average Gain Per Play - 6.8
When a Notre Dame offense gains 490 yards and scores 34 points, the Irish should win!
ST's and Defense let us down badly IMO, three Irish had the angle on Darryl Stonum in the first quarter and they all whiffed, opening the door for a 94-yard touchdown on a kickoff return!, on top of that, our defense made Forcier look like (insert HOF QB name here) a Greek God, throwing, rushing, you name it,......he did it!.
I'm not sure who was covering him on his 30 yard TD jaunt, (I do but won't rub salt into the wound) but needless to say, our equipment manager was seen after the game looking for a jockstrap and a pair of cleats!?!
Should'a, could'a, would'a, we had our chances and didn't take them.
Did we have some dodgy calls from the ref crew?...yeah, I'd say we did, but thats football, if we believe (as most do) that the NCAA and everyone outside of South bend hates us, then we have to do things twice as better as every other team in the country, and that includes not making game time/situational mental mistakes.
Michigan outplayed and out coached us yesterday, we may have better athletes, but until they prove otherwise, we don't have better football players, our posisitional coaches need to evaluate themselves in regard to "coaching" our players in situational football.
How many plays did we have negated by penalty's? one of which saw a 76-yard completion to Kyle Rudolph called back, we were trailing 24-20 and three plays later....we punted!
We're 5 years down the road with CW, but a Rodriguez team got it done when it mattered 2 years in!?!
