I'm not a big USC fan, but I respect their tradition. I'm not so sure that they can really be held accountable for Bush's actions, unless it can be proven that someone from the University was present when some of it went down. I mean, what are they supposed to do? Go out and look at the address of every parent of every player, and investigate whether or not they can afford the place?

USC was responsible too. NCAA calls it "Institutional Control". Which U$C lost with Bu$h.

I'm just not sure that falls under the "Institutional Control" definition. I think the NCAA generally reserves that clause for incidents involving multiple players. I'm not saying I wouldn't be happy to see USC struggle. Especially after watching the whole "USC vs. the World" series on ESPN (in tonight's episode, we conclude that USC would beat the Soviet Red Army by at least 60. An AK-47 is just no match for Reggie Bush, LenDale White, and Matt Leinart. And the Red Army's T-72 Main Battle Tanks just don't have the horsepower to move the USC's defensive line off of the ball). But, to be fair, I think you have to have something airtight, to hang the University with.
