The Irish have a GREAT Jr. Day.

In what looks to have been a very prosperous Jr. Day for Notre Dame, the Irish picked up their 2nd and 3rd verbal commitments in the recruiting class of '08, and had many other top prospects on hand to witness the atmosphere of Notre Dame's much talked about and publicized Pro Day. The Irish picked up interior OL/DT Braxton Cave from Mishawaka, IN, and WR John Goodman from Fort Wayne, IN.

Oh yeah, Charlie's hard-line stance with recruits and commits is hurting us SOOOO much right now.

I know most of us on here were heartened by Charlie's "If you're looking, we're looking" declaration, but I did see a few people doing some hand-wringing. Have no fear. Notre Dame is Notre Dame, and if people want to come here, they'll still come here.

I think there were legitimate questions being asked about whether it would give people pause, or have some other unforseen effect. Hopefully, it won't be an issue and CW will have a kickass year!
