The Notre Dame spring semester starts today. Which means Jimmy C., Armando Allen and Gary Gray are in school and ready to start their ND football careers. This is a big day for the program and foe these kids. The spring game this year should be very interesting, with all of the positions up for grabs. My thought is these three recruits are going to be in the mix and contributing all year.

That gives me a nice, warm feeling just thinking about that. Thanks. Reps to ya.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to make it to the sping game this year. I usually try to make it every year, athough I missed several during the Davieham era. Last year was great, the old part of the stadium was 4/5 of the way full, thats over 40,000 people for practice game. Plus Bettis, the Golic Brothers, and Rocket were the honorary coaches, and if memory serves me correctly I think I heard that Lou and Ara are going to be the honorary coaches this year. It going to be fun watching those two guys down on the sidelines, because you know once the game starts their competitive juices will start flowing, and they'll be going at, just like old times. And if that wasn't enough we'll get to watch part of the great QB battle, and last year's recruiting class is going to be all over the field.

Here is one of the advantages to being a Double Domer, 6 straight Blue-Gold games in a row, and it's still in walking distance. The bad part is the poverty of grad life. But the football is great.
