I thought the crowd this past weekend against Western Michigan was an awesome crowd. The ND students got the wave going; at times going in both directions at the same time (it's been a while since the crowd did the wave), ND ballons were being batted throughout the crowd, and there were more people doing the normal push-ups after ND scored. Rain or shine, winning or losing, and no matter who we are playing I'd like to see the crowd get into all the games like they were against Western Michigan. Did anyone go to the game this past weekend??

I was there. I'd like for it to have been a lot louder, but I'm getting a little old to be screaming and yelling for 4 quarters, myself. I thought the atmosphere was great.

I was there since I'm a student there. To be honest, we weren't as engaged in the game as usual because we'd just finished midterms and this week's fall break. Kind of like the team in the first half, I think a lot of the students looked past this one.

I think the crowd gets into any game that ND puts up 40+ in a game that is not close during the 2nd half. Plus ND has been under direct hits of the crowd not getting into the games.

Agreed. Student section was a little weak. I might have been more engaged had I not been so engaged in tailgating beforehand. But the whole crowd did seem to be more into the game than normal.

For my first home game it was a little loud but some of the Season Ticket holders need to get off there @$$ES and get loud. You go to Rocky Top or Little MTSU and it is deafening especially when they are winning or close. JMO

I was at the game as well, visiting a buddy who plays baseball there now. I brought my good friend who had never been. We got into the student section and needless to say, he was amazed. He fell in love instantly this weekend. He goes to several NFL games a year and couldnt stop talking about how much better this weekend was than those games. I have been to many games myself and i agree it could be a bit louder, but the feeling you get in that stadium is still like nothing else!.

PS... The band KILLED it as usual!

I wish i could go to just about every game! I have been to a some games over the last couple years at ND stadium. I even attended the U of M v ND game in the Big House last year, and the Ohio State game in the Big House last year. I will say that the Big House is definitely loud, but by far ND has the most devoted fans and I'm happy to be one myself. I was at the MSU and Washington game last year. Both the crowd was completely crazy down the stretch. I sat in the endzone that OT was played in with my girlfriend and our 2 sons for the Washington game last year. Of all the sporting events i've ever attended this has to be the most memorable and exciting one I have been apart of. To have the game winning OT TD caught right in our face, we were in the 2nd row, and the Washington last attempt dropped, the team singing following the game, we got to pat the players helmet and high five 'em as the ran out of the tunnel. Hell even one of the boys caught the ND wrist sweat band from one of the players following the game. It was nothing less than an amazing experience.
