although this senior class did not bring championships i applaud them for their effort! it takes alot to be a student athlete and to stick with it when times are tough, these kids stuck it out and did their best through these past few years with a coaching change and one of the worst seasons you could imagine they are still there and still playing. and still going to practice every day and working hard.
i read an article the other day about interhall teams. there was a quote from knute rockne in there that just screams to be put in this post.
"Four years of football are calculated to breed in the average man more of the ingredients of success in life than almost any academic course he takes."

i dont know if i have ever said anything so true. as that is what it truely is all about, boys learning to become men, productive men.
