I like what Kelly said about how there will be a huge jump between year 1 and year 2 w/ the strength and conditioning program.

Improved strength and conditioning, huh?

I can't wait to see the enormous OL we field next year.

Kelly's already started the recruiting process of Floyd.

"The offense revolves around Michael."

hope he returns.....

We know Floyd is ready and the recruitment to keep him is important. I believe the thing right at the end of the press conference is going to hurt him. Injuries, he just never put in a full season and being healthy. That is huge for the NFL.

Not to mention on top of this people are saying this is the deepest WR draft in the past 10-15 years.......

So we got that going for us, which is nice.....

I think this could actually work against us. Yeah, the NFL doesn't want him to be injury prone, but it doesn't sound like an extra year at ND would help that hamstring. If I'm Michael Floyd I'm thinking I could stay and risk something really bad happening to my hamstring that REALLY hurts my chances in the NFL or I can go now while its still fairly healthy and at least get a big signing bonus. I hope I'm wrong and that he stays because I think that if we get consistent QB play we could be really dangerous next year, but I don't see it happening.

On a side note, I didn't like that Rees only targeted Floyd and Eifert all day. If Floyd leaves we are going to need Jones and Riddick to step up. They have both had their moments, but I'd like to see them be consistent wideouts.

I was at the game...and I'm telling you Rees was looking for Floyd all the way...also TJ was owning the DB on him however Ress rarely looked at him. I am sure that will be worked on this spring.

I felt this may have been the case just by what I saw on TV. They could have put more points on the board getting the ball around to other guys. IT WILL have to be worked on if Floyd stays because those two other guys are tremendous players who need ball attention. Floyd is one of the best in the nation but involving the other guys could make this offense pretty much undefendable from the passing standpoint.

Jones was doing just fine, not awesome but fine. Problem for him was Floyd was on fire and so dominant. they couldn't do anything against him.

Jones will be much better when he gets stronger, he is just a freshman. And I am excited on what he can do.

I was at the game too--very cold. But, we just wanted it more. Smarter, better, better coached, and having fun. Basically the whole stadium and all most all of fan fest was Notre Dame fans. Freaking awesome.

Anyhow, go Irish! Great season.

Miami has the worse fans in college football. Reading their quarter-by-quarter threads I believe every person at one point had called the players losers and claiming they were throwing the game.
