Zach Frazer is his number one pick and strikes me as a prototypical Notre Dame qb from a Pittsburgh-area blue-collar city (like Montana or Clements was). There is a good chance he is a Catholic too (not a necessary requirement, but always a nice 'bonus'). Right now, Frazer would strike me as ideal.

many recruiting outlets are projecting that he will be the #1QB of 06...he was Coach Weis' first official offer

max emfinger has come out with the player star ratings.

I question this list. There are several kids who aren't even mentioned as 2-star prospects. Strozier? Aldridge? Maddox? I think there are too many missing names to take this guy seriously.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the Emfinger site. Strozier and Maddox are top 100 players on rivals, so it is strange that Emfinger doesn't even list them.

Another problem with emfinger is they give out stars like candy. They have way too many 5 star guys. Guys that are sometimes 2 star players on rivals or scout, will sometimes get 3 or even 4 stars on emfinger.

any help?

Early word is Illnois is his favorite, with ND and Purdue not to far behind.

Even if we don't land Jones, I'm pretty confident we'll bring in a big time QB this class.

On rivals pre100 evaluation, they don't even list Zach Frazer. The guy owns almost every Pennsyvania record for QBs and he is only a junior...I hope we land him

Frazer is the real deal. Frazer completed 285 of 441 passes for 3,674-yards and a State Record 27 touchdowns. He passed for more touchdowns in a regular season than Johnny Unitas, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, or Chad Henne. His pass completion percentage was 64.6 percent and he was selected to the 3A All-State Team and he was also selected as the 3A Player of the Year.

I would rather go after him, then Demitrius Jones, although i do like him to, but Frazer is just awesome on paper. He would be the legitimate starter after Quinn rather than Gorski, or Sharpley
