The refs are on drugs. Did everyone see Smith get held on the 2nd down play. The tackle had him totally held.

How about a deep post route like Grimes caught last week for a TD? (hoping this power of suggestion works)

Hughes will be our starter next season with Armando as our change of pace back...Our o-line will have a year of experience and our running game will b something 2 worry about for all the teams on out sched.......

Nothing against Aldridge, but Hughes needs to start next year...

I hope we can do better than that. He's had two big runs now, today, where he should have taken it to the house, but he doesn't have the speed. Maybe he can get faster in the offseason, but if he doesn't, I want more speed. I think the guy runs great. He's patient, he appears to have a feel for where the hole is, and he has a lot of power. But he needs that home run speed. Even if he doesn't start, I want to see him get at least 10 carries a game.

I'm not sure why you're writing Aldridge off, he's done well. I think the off season gives him a chance to get well.

Aldridge is a bust. He must not be the same since his knee injury.

I think Hughes is the thunder to AA's lightning they both should get carries but he's the only one that has really broken anything big this year.I think both should get touches but Hughes has looked the best the last few games.

I agree he doesn't have great breakaway speed. I would like to know the ten best runs from scrimmage this year and how many of those Hughes owns. He is the big-play runner for ND this year hands down.
