The buzz: He was listed as a senior, but he is expected back in 2011 as a fifth-year senior (Notre Dame does not count redshirts until their fifth season). His three interceptions against Miami in the Sun Bowl gave him seven for the season. Can Smith carry over that success next season?

I think he can. If the projected starting front seven plays as well as we expect them to, the opposing offenses will be tossing the ball a lot inorder to move the ball. This will create more opportunities for Smith and the rest of the secondary to contribute with interceptions, pass break ups and bone rattling hits.

Great point. Glad he's having success, took alot of s--t early in career going from s to lb etc.

That is great for Harrison. It seems to me that there has not been a bigger change of opinion and comments about a player over his career at ND than Hayseed.
I could very well be wrong. If I am give me examples.
