We have become a coaching carousel 3 in 7 years, 4 if you count O'Leary, if CW is let go. This is arguably not in the best interest of the program on a long term basis. Makes me wonder even more if a change, unless it is a homerun some really big name guy, would set us a back. I have nothing against Kelly and Petersen and some other mentioned, it just seems to me right now that someone like that could take time get us to the elite status we want. Maybe if they followed after someone has gotten us there and then just had to maintain the program, like Devine from Ara, it would be better for them and us. I am probably like many people out there and go back and forth everyday on what we should do. This is crazy!! I just want it done and want it done right. If he stays, he must revamp the staff and himself. If he goes, they had better be sure they have the right guy this time.

I agree don't let it linger make a decision and stick with let everyone know if he is coming back or not. You owe it to the Players and Fans.

Notre Dame does not "owe" anyone anything. If he was coming back, you would already know. The administration know the fans will keep coming. As far as the players....I think their performance says enough.

Umm I think it is the fans (alumni) and students who spend there money so the University can survive.
