---- USC commmit Maurice Simmons' younger brother from the 09 class just commited to USC already. He figures to be a big time recruit being that he has offers from UCLA, ASU, and Oregon already. Somebody make them stop.

Actually, Ryan Perilloux was listed as the no. 2 quarterback, with Matt Flynn being the starter. But Ryan was a huge recruit back in the day, and probably would be the starter for the following year.

Yea, Ryan burned the Longhorns on signing day and signed w/ LSU cause he didn't want to sit and wait behind VY for a year. Great good that did for him since he's been sitting on the pine at LSU for even longer.

Just goes to show you that Russel wasn't thought of as highly as everyone makes him out to be now. Tell me, if Ryan had the choice to be the back up for Quinn or Russel two years ago, where do you think the "experts" would have told him to go if breaking into that starting role was his main concern? I don't think it would have been ND.
