the ND/Washington line just moved from 11.5 to 10. what am i missing here? why is money flowing to UW? i'm getting that pit in my stomach right now that ND is going to come out and try and force the run, fumble the football and the huskies are going to return it for 6 and we're going to be in for an instant dogfight right to the bitter end. someone please bring me back to reality? ND should hammer this team tomorrow night!

it will be a win, i think it will never be in doubt, but washington will be giving it their all. if this were a more seasoned team i would say blowout no problem but this team is still young and prone to mistakes, but even so this will be a W and thats all that really matters.

everyone brings their best against ND but for the love of God let's bury this team and we can all finally move on from Willingham.

I am hoping we see an absolute romp tomorrow! I think, coming off the bye week, the team will be ready to knock some heads. UW players know their season is a bust, their coach is packing his bags, and ND is coming in with something to prove. It is going to be difficult to rebound if they get down early. I think we go up by at least two touchdowns early in the first quarter and roll from there. This is one game I would love to see Coach Weis jack up the score. Build some confidence in his players with a "pad the stats" game as we kick off the second half of the season.

I think it dropped because 2 reasons:

1. Washington is historically very good at home. Even this year, they've played much better at home, and have been very competitive in some tough games.

2. ND is underrated across the country. You and I know how good this offense is because we see it every single week, but others don't get to see Clausen, Tate, Floyd and co. So we see what potential the offense has, but others see stats and not games, so they go by those stats and highlights. Can't blame them, the average fan watches their team and maybe the national game of the week. We can't expect them to think we're good when they see a win of 28-21 over Stanford, esp coming off a putrid 3-9 season.

I think, like many others, that we're going to roll them. I mean, they simply shouldn't be able to score on us or stop us. But I still remember last year, so to me, NOTHING is in the bag. We need to score, and then keep pretending it's 0-0 after we score, and keep that mentality the entire game.

I don't think we will force the run. UW has one of the worst secondaries in the nation. We will go after them with the pass. This game only makes me nervous becasue its on the road. And, you never know how emotion will change a game in college football. Will Ty have his guys up to exact revenge on his old employer? I don't think so. We get our first road victory of the season tomorrow. I can't wait until kick-off!

Being a 10 point favorite on the road still indicates being a rout.
