Schedule Strength!

After reveiwing several "Bowl Projections" on different sites most of them are pretty much similar. Notre Dame played 12 games (well everyone plays at least 12) and 10 teams that the Irish played will be playing in a bowl game. DAMN! Now I know that other teams have just as tough if not tougher of a schedual but can anyone remember a harder schedual? Here's the breakdown of Notre Dames opponents and where they will most likely be bowling this year with their win/loss record:

1)Georgia Tech 7-5 (Roady's Humanitarian Bowl vs Boise State)
2)Penn State 8-4 (Champs Sports Bowl vs Virginia)
3)Michigan 8-4 (Valero Alamo Bowl vs Oklahoma State)
4)Michigan State 7-5 (Motor City Bowl vs Central Michigan)
5)Purdue 7-5 (Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl vs Air Force)
6)Ucla 6-5 (Emerald Bowl vs Maryland)
7)Boston College 10-2 (Chick-fil-A Bowl vs Auburn)
8)Southern Cal 9-2 (Rose Bowl vs Georgia)
9)Navy 7-4 (San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl vs Utah)
10)Air Force 9-3 (Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl vs Purdue)

If thats not a hard as schedual than I dont know what is. Go Irish!

Our schedule is actually ranked only #16 according to Sagarin ... the Pac-10 teams tend to clean up in SOS because they each play a full nine in-conference games.
