A pigskin thread!!!! It is going to be terribly exciting to track Young's progress through the entire season. It seems that he will get the majority of his reps at right tackle and switch to left next year to protect #7, #12 or #4. Remember, the kid hasn't given up a sack in an eternity(I know, high school)......but to watch him line up against some of these guys on certain plays is going to be one of the fun storylines to watch.

I have big hopes for him...he's a big kid with great skills.

As for his ability to prevent sacks, I hope it works out.

However, I don't wanna pee in the punchbowl...but remember Dwight Ellick? In 2 years as a Safety in High School he never gave up a TD. I wish that were true when he played at ND.

All I know is, in a couple years, when he and Stewart are playing on the same line, we will have one of the biggest lines in football. Both are mountains of men.

Still gives me shills when I harken back to the story of Maura Weis remarking to Charlie once Young entered the room of an ND banquet......."All those years that you were with the Giants and Patriots......none of those guys looked like that."
