Due to some injuries to the packers running back core, Ryan Grant is seeing some time on the field. Just now with about 30 seconds left in the 1st half, he caught a short pass for a first down. Pretty cool.

That's awesome!!! I did not realize he was still in the NFL at all. Good to hear he is still hanging around.

They Giant's traded him before the right before the season. For a 6th round draft pick. Matter of fact when we played The Packers he had a decent game. It's good to see him chugging along.

i don't know if any of you guys are watching the packers-broncos game, but ryan grant is having himself a nice little ball game. he's rushed for 96 yards in the game and there's 5:30 left in the 4th quarter. before the 1st half ended, he had a few chances to get into the endzone from inside the 5, but his best chance was negated by a false start. go ryan.

EDIT: he now has over 100 yards

Frarvre! You just cost me some v-bucks. Punk. No, he's just doing his job. It's the Broncos d-backs that have some splan'n to do. You got beat like red headed stepchildren!

GO RYAN!!!

A lot of people crapped on him during his time at ND...he's a great player who had a bad coach.

lol...he was a good player who refused...or was afraid to square his pads up to the line and grind out yards....and he was too damn slow to go outside. Kind of limits your production if you refuse to do that. ;)

Good for Ryan. The fact that he was on the same squad as JJ didn't help him either.

Any man that can make it in the NFL should have been a big time player in college. He could have bloomed late...but I would bet he was misused.

i was a fan of grant, doesnt hurt that we have the same first name. nice to see him have a 100yd game. i was hoping tony fisher would have some NFL success, but that didnt happen. the packers sure do like ND running backs though.

today against the vikes, ryan had 25 carries for 119 yards and a touchdown. the touchdown was a 30 yard run. he also caught 5 passes for 20 yards. he might be developing into that RB that the packers need to go deep into the playoffs.

Way to go Grant, I always love to see former Irish players do well in the Pro's. I think Laws will be a beast when he develops in the NFL.

I had to jump in here to add some praise for Ryan. It looks like the Pack has found themselves a go to back. He's running like a man possessed, avg. over 4yards a carry, protecting the ball, looking like he may have the legs to make himself a nice little career. Cheers to Mr. Grant.
