Of course the players think they should get paid, I am surprised it wasnt 100% saying yes though, seems like there are a few smart players in the bunch. Paying the players would ruin the game.

The response question 7 got in favor of academics was surprising and was summed up best by the player who thought a lot of the answers were disngenuous. So basically players are smart enough to know what to say but aren't truly honest with that being a major factor in their decision, a bunch of future politicians in that group.

I agree that some kids weren't probably honest. With that said, I don't think it's overinflated by a lot. 30 out of 80 kids said academics were the most important, that's 37.5%. If you would've asked me before I read the article, I would've guessed 30%. Even at 30 out of 50 that's a lot of kids that said academics is not the most important.
