The '66 team played some defense, 3.8* ppg allowed shutting out 6^ of 10 foes.

*14 of those pts came from a fumble return and a blocked punt. The TEAM gave up 38 pts. The Defense gave up 17.

^The shutouts were Army, UNC, #10 OU, PITT, Duke, and #10 Southern Cal.
