Report: UGA transfer LB received benefits in 2009 - CBSSports.com

An investigation into the Columbus (Ga.) Parks and Recreation Department may have revealed potential violations regarding two University of Georgia athletes, according to a report in the Ledger-Enquirer.

Police records show that department director Tony Adams and top lieutenant Herman Porter used an unauthorized bank account to pay for flights for USC transfer Jarvis Jones

The sum of the flights exceeds $500, which means an almost sure suspension for Jones.

Long story short, USC may be in trouble if they knew about the improper benefits, seeing as how Jones was still a USC player at the time.

Don't think this is anything that will affect USC. I'd sure as hell be shocked if the NCAA pursued it after all the bad PR they are getting for not hitting UNC and OSU with LOIC.
