Question on Lou Holtz

So basically I am not surrounded by many true ND fans so I am sort of curious of the opinion of Lou as far as ESPN is concerned, not what he did as a coach.

I realize there is probably a thread(s) somewhere on this, and I did randomly pick some pages to see if I could see anything, but did not. So if someone knows exactly how far back I should look.

Or if you want to comment, thats cool too.

I love Lou Holtz but I have to say that he probably just helps feed the ND hate that already exists. Of course a lot of people I know that hate ND are glad that Lou is there because even they find Mark May to be way too over zealous in his ND hatred.

Jason h537-the Charlie signature is genious and Lou lets everyone know Notre Dame stands alone. He understood that like other past great Irish coaches and thats what I like about Charlie. Let 'em hate-our times coming.

Lou is a pretty decent analyst, in my opinion. Yes, he's biased towards Notre Dame. A lot. Us Irish fans are the only ones that like him.

Guys, Lou is a great analyst. The whole ESPN thing is a set-up, like the Abbott & Costello show. Yes, everyone knows Lou loves the Irish and they have him play it up to piss off the entire nation, just as they have Mays play up his hatred to fire up all the Irish fans. All this proves is that the Irish have more impact on college football then any other team reguardless if they are good or not. GOD Bless LOU!!!!

Just as biased as he is for us - Mark May hates us. Desmond is as much a skunkbear sympathizer. Herbstreet will speak the truth about OSU, then again... not so fast my friend.....
